Senior Technician, Facilities & Maintenance en Alphatec Spine

Description

Performs all necessary duties to ensure the maintenance of Alphatec’s facilities. Assist in the execution of the manufacturing support equipment maintenance program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot equipment that supports manufacturing operations as well as equipment and systems that support the facility.
• Establish, schedule and perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Procedures.
• Keep accurate records & logs of all maintenance performed in company’s CMMS.
• Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts.
• Support equipment installations and moves.
• Perform general facility maintenance and installations such as:
• Minor building and hardware repairs
• Minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting repairs & projects.
• Furniture assembly and relocation
• HVAC scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repair
• Maintain inventory & schedule routine pickups of Hazardous Waste.
• Operate building BMS Controls
• Comply with established company policies and procedures, objectives, quality programs safety and environmental standards.
• Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
• Train and instruct others on proper preventative maintenance procedures and duties.
• Organize and maintain Facilities Maintenance Shop.
• Solicit bids from and oversee contractors involved in repair & projects.
• Support company & corporate events & meetings.
• Work overtime, weekends, and/or split shifts to support Operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have general electrical-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC Systems & maintenance experience.
• Must have basic knowledge & skills with MS 365 suite.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to receive and carry out verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Safe working habits and attention to quality are absolutely essential.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, detailed oriented, able to prioritize duties, handle multiple tasks, and possess the ability to work independently as well as with other team members
• Have basic hand tools required to perform the work assigned.
  

Education & Experience:

• 10+ years experience in Facilities Maintenance and/or equipment maintenance.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, and interpret drawings, work requests, procedures and legal documents.
• Ability to follow work instructions to implement GMP/ISO 9000 systems.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Environmental Health & Safety Compliance knowledge.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma. College coursework is a plus.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in dealing with vendors and contractors a plus.

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $35.00 to $40.00 Full-Time Hourly Rate.
