As a Risk Manager, you'll play a vital role in strengthening our risk and compliance foundation. You'll help shape policies, controls, and frameworks that keep Nelly resilient, compliant, and ready to scale further - combining hands-on execution with analytical problem-solving to identify risks early, monitor them effectively, and contribute to a culture of opertional excellence.

What you'll get to do
Actively shape and roll out Nelly’s risk management framework, turning policies into practical, business-ready processes.
Strengthen and evolve internal controls to make our operations more efficient, resilient, and compliant in a fast-growing, regulated environment.
Support third-party risk management by assessing vendors and partners, and helping ensure they meet Nelly’s security, compliance, and control standards.
Contribute to business continuity and resilience initiatives, including designing, testing, and continuously improving disaster recovery and contingency plans.
Build clear risk dashboards and management reports, translating complex risk topics into actionable insights for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
2+ years of proven experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or GRC roles, ideally in FinTech, payments, or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with governance, risk, compliance, and internal control frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO, or similar).
Ability to support the creation and improvement of risk policies and procedures in a scaling environment.
Knowledge of European financial regulations (BaFin, EBA, GDPR, PSD2) and operational resilience best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
Fluency in English, German is a plus.
