Position Overview:
Threat Tec, a leader in operational environment replication and training solutions, is seeking a highly qualified Intelligence Planner to join our team at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Intelligence Planner will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and scripting complex exercise scenarios in support of military training events. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in intelligence support, targeting, and doctrinal processes and demonstrate a proven track record of success in both conventional and special operations forces (SOF) environments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary planner for integrated exercise scenarios, ensuring seamless coordination of intelligence, targeting, and operational requirements
Provide formal instruction and guidance on intelligence support to Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)
Leverage extensive CI/HUMINT and SIGINT knowledge to drive exercise realism, scenario scripting, and high-fidelity training outcomes
Develop training scenarios, Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs), and associated supporting documents, incorporating insights from declared and outside declared theaters of active armed conflict
Synthesize complex data to produce high-quality intelligence information reports (IIR), tactical reports, and products related to target pattern of life (PoL) and network and nodal analysis
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
15+ years of experience serving as an Operations Effects Planner, Intelligence Officer/Chief, Target Information Officer/Chief, or Target Intelligence Officer/Chief (O3–O5; E7–E9; CWO3–5)
Well-versed in current SOF doctrine and SOF TTPs
3 years of exercise scenario scripting experience in JNTC or service-level joint exercise programs (SOF-specific, SMU, and/or JSOC exercise scenario scripting experience desired)
Technical Expertise:
Thorough understanding of fundamental CI/HUMINT operations, reporting, and the ability to produce professional-level intelligence information reports (IIRs)
In-depth knowledge of SIGINT tactical collections, static tethered collections, direction-finding, precision geolocation, and national SIGINT collection capabilities
Familiarity with SIGINT time-sensitive reporting, to include writing tactical reports and replicating professional-level products on target pattern of life (PoL) and network analysis
Education:
Master’s degree in Military/Political Science, International Studies/Policy, Terrorism Studies, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related military experience
Security Clearance:
Active TS//SCI Clearance, verified in Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and must meet Marine Corps policy for validating and clearing personnel
Preferred Experience:
Experience serving in Declared Theaters of Active Armed Conflict (DTAAC) and/or Outside Declared Theaters of Active Armed Conflict (ODTAAC)
Demonstrated ability to support the full range of intelligence planning from concept to execution
