Your Role
We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team and build a sophisticated, multi-channel approach to customer engagement. This person will start by perfecting our email campaigns, making sure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time in their journey. Your work will connect strategy with systems, moving our program from one-size-fits-all to segmented, personalized experiences that drive action.
This role requires 3 days in our headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln.
As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you'll:
- Orchestrate and optimize email campaigns. You’ll build, launch, and improve email campaigns across the full funnel—including onboarding, nurture, and re-engagement—using HubSpot. You'll translate audience strategies into functional workflows, owning the accurate segmentation, logic, quality assurance, and reporting.
- Be a HubSpot power user. You will manage lists, workflows, and QA to ensure clean, compliant delivery of our messages. You’ll create and maintain templates that enable partners to execute campaigns confidently and share best practices with teammates.
- Establish internal governance. You will build internal guidelines and safeguards to assess and reduce risk across different email strategies and lifecycle touchpoints. This includes documenting playbooks and repeatable processes for lifecycle engagement.
- Support channel expansion. You'll help shape Hudl’s modern, multi-channel customer journey by experimenting with emerging channels like chat, push/SMS, and conversational AI.
- Collaborate across teams. You will partner with marketing managers, sales, and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to align messaging and sequence planning. You'll also work closely on frameworks to enable sales email cadences.
Must-Haves
- Experienced. You have two to three years of hands-on experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, ideally within a SaaS and B2B environment.
- Proficient in HubSpot. You are an expert in HubSpot workflows, lists, and automation. You have experience with segmentation, personalization, and triggered campaigns.
- Detail-oriented. You have strong Quality Assurance (QA) habits and the ability to spot errors and build repeatable systems to ensure clean, compliant delivery.
- Comfortable with metrics. You are able to support reporting and use insights to improve campaigns and measure results.
Nice-to-Haves
- HubSpot certified. A HubSpot certification is strongly preferred, and other email or lifecycle certifications are a plus.
- Curious and ambitious. You are eager to learn about AI tools and emerging lifecycle channels to grow your expertise in marketing automation.
- Able to balance priorities. You can balance execution responsibilities with the work of enabling others through systems and documentation.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
- Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
- Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
