The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We support large-scale capital programs with a commitment to quality, integrity, and technical excellence.

We are seeking a Project Engineer I – Sustainability to support the planning, dsign, construction, and closeout of capital improvement and sustainability projects for the Los Angeles Community College District. This role provides technical and engineering support to Project Managers and Construction Managers within a large, multi-campus bond program.

Salary Range: $85K/Year-$95K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and engineering support to PMs and CMs on sustainability and capital projects
  • Coordinate with architects to ensure timely responses to RFIs
  • Maintain and distribute current plans, specs, and contract documents
  • Verify contractors’ record drawings prior to monthly payments
  • Perform field checks to confirm compliance with plans, specs, College standards, and DSA requirements
  • Document project progress through photos, daily reports, and notes
  • Assist with correspondence, reports, procedures, and project guidelines
  • Track change orders, proposals, field orders, and approvals
  • Review and log submittals for conformance to plans and specifications
  • Assist in meeting coordination and minutes
  • Support reviews of RFIs, submittals, and monthly invoices
  • Perform additional project support duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in project or construction management for commercial, public, or educational facility projects valued over $15M
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience with BIM
  • Experience with LEED or CHPS sustainability projects
  • Experience with DSA construction/design processes
