Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to support calibration activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Germany. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in calibration of production and laboratory equipment, solid understanding of GMP requirements, and the ability to work autonomously in a highly regulated environment. This role requires relocation for a three-year assignment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled calibration of production, laboratory, and utility instruments and equipment in compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
· Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair instruments including temperature, pressure, flow, weight, and analytical devices.
· Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation according to regulatory and company guidelines.
· Support investigations related to equipment deviations, calibration failures, and out-of-tolerance conditions.
· Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure equipment reliability and process continuity.
· Participate in calibration program improvements and support audits and inspections as required.
· Ensure adherence to safety procedures and operational excellence practices.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Calibration Technician or similar role in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
· Strong technical expertise in calibration of instrumentation, metrology, and maintenance practices.
· Solid knowledge of equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP principles.
· Fluent English (written and spoken).
· Availability and willingness to relocate to Germany for a 3-year assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
· German language skills (intermediate or above).
· Experience working in international teams or in cross-cultural environments.
· Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Soft Skills
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
