The role
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Anaplan Developer / Model Builder to join our Finance team, specifically the FP&A team. This role will focus on taking ownership of Anaplan from the development side, with a focus on establishing a strong COE with the FP&A team. Specifically this will be:
-Model building
-System optimisation
-Data integrity
-Reports writing and output
Responsibilities
Taking responsibility and ownership of Anaplan system and development, including but not limited to continuous improvement and review of existing structures and new development of models in line with reporting requirements.
Work with FP&A and other business SMEs on expanding on Anaplan use cases
Continuously updating model architecture to ensure alignment with changing business requirements and M&A activities.
Engage with IT to integrate data flows from other internal systems (e.g. Data Warehouse) /software (e.g. NetSuite, HiBoB) and Anaplan
Ensure data accuracy, integrity and user security controls and develop additional measures where necessary.
Design UX pages and dashboards aimed at increasing user engagement
Design, develop and deliver appropriate training (incl. training documents) to users dependant on their various use cases
Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.
Requirements
3+ years L2/L3 Anaplan Model Builder (Master Anaplanner or Solution Architect preferable) with working practise of financial reporting and forecasting models
Working Knowledge of AnaplanXL, ADO, Workflow and other Anaplan tools and connectors
Strong Excel and data integration skills; detail-driven and collaborative.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and engaging with stakeholders, vendors, (Oracle NetSuite a plus).
Ability to adhere to deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment
Background in FP&A is preferable
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable
High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills, accuracy and analytical skills
Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
Experience within Financial Services sector would be advantageous.
