Location - USA with occasional trips to the Charlotte office, and any other travel associated with client prospecting or projects
In 2020 LCP launched our Heath Analytics practice, providing analytical and research services for organizations across the life sciences and healthcare industries. In 2025 Health analytics, made the move to establish a presence in the United States – LCP US Access Solutions - to complement and expand the success of the existing team. Our collective health analytics team brings together scientists, clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, health economists, bioinformaticians health data specialists and industry experienced leadership alongside our established actuarial, analytics and technology teams to deliver new solutions to the fundamental challenges in health.
Our team’s mission is to help move health systems from importers of illness to exporters of health and to support our clients to deliver value to patients. We have already developed a history for leading approaches to market access strategy, real world evidence generation and health economic modelling.
We have been growing the team quickly in response to the demand we see for the service offerings we have developed and are now looking for a consultant – to lead and manage our market research capabilities. We view market research as a key component to our future growth. In addition to supporting strategy projects, our goal is to expand our market research service offerings to include more traditional marketing opportunities across other commercial areas.
As a Startegic Market Research Consultant, you will contribute to the design and execution of US and global market research programs that inform market access and value-based strategies. You will lead the delivery of multi-dimensional teams, incorporating evidence from across HEOR, RWE, and market access domains into our research design, and provide strategic insights from the research performed to internal and external clients. Finally, you will be part of the LCP team whose task is to identify opportunities to utilize technology into our consulting processes.

What will you be doing?
As a Consultant in the US Access Solution team within LCP’s Health Analytics department, you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, covering both client and non-client work. You will play a key role in maturing our ability to provide primary and secondary research across market access. You will initially focus on the US, but ex-US work will also be within your responsibilities. .
Your key responsibilities will be:
Project Management
- Day to day lead projects requiring complex analysis across all stages:
- Proposal development (for market research sections)
- Secondary/desk research
- Market research and advisory boards
- Administrative project management
- Report writing
- Conduct targeted secondary research using diverse sources to address specific questions (e.g., disease landscape, treatment pathways, pricing and reimbursement, patient services, distribution models) that are relevant to conducting primary research.
- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative payer and/or pricing research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges for client products in various healthcare markets. This may include leading on the design on surveys, 1:1 in-depth interviews, advisory boards, roundtable and other primary research methodologies
- Prepare client-facing presentations and reports that clearly communicate complex market research findings and concepts to varied audiences.
- Be client facing, acting as the day-to-day contact on client projects, especially for market research deliverables
- Track and closely manage project budgets to ensure projects run to time and budget, while flagging any concerns upwards to project leads
- Lead primary research initiatives including survey design, in-depth interviews, advisory boards, and roundtables; build internal capability, using technology where appropriate, to execute these methodologies
- Oversee and review the work of other members of the team and support their development, including:
- Contribution to team training
- Contribution to the development of internal resources, tools and processes
- This may include line management and coaching responsibilities
- Crosstrain with Health Analytics colleagues on primary and secondary market research techniques.
You will also contribute to business development opportunities across the team. This will include:
- Demonstrate and develop your expertise by contributing to thought leadership activities
- Effectively communicate LCP’s goals, products, and mission to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and launch of new market research services, with an initial focus on market access opportunities.
- Support in proposal development and client management across market access services with particular focus on market research-based activities.
The key experience, skills and qualities we are looking for are:
- Demonstrable, relevant consulting experience in either a market research agency or market access consulting business
- A good understanding of the US and Healthcare systems along with a thorough knowledge of US market access
- Existing knowledge or capable of rapidly developing the knowledge of how a healthcare product is commercialized along with an understanding of concepts such as pricing, reimbursement, payers, trade and channel etc.
- A thorough understanding of U.S. payer landscapes, reimbursement systems, value-based care models, and formulary decision-making
- Excellent grounding in relevant qualitative and quantitative methods
- Ability to translate primary research findings into actionable insights for pricing, access, launch strategy and beyond
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced skills in slide-based presentation i.e., ability to present complex data visually (infographics and data visualization skills) alongside the ability to explain complex issues to a wide ranging audience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, highly competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and at least one statistical software package (SPSS, SAS, Sequel)
- Experience in the utilization of advanced technologies in research and consulting services
- The ability to thrive working as part of a growing dynamic team, and comfortable leading on day-to-day project activities from day one
- Experience in business development activities including organization, proposal writing and pitch presentations
- Initiative and creative in developing original solutions to problems
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills with the ability to manage your work and coordinate the work of multi-disciplinary teams with ease
- Ability to regularly multi-task across client projects, project management of client engagements, and the mentoring and coordination of less experienced members of the team
