Description
We are looking for a self-motivated, hungry and entrepreneurial salesperson to help drive the sales efforts for our real estate lending fund. You would be expected to gain a deep understanding of our market and the Fund's strategy, and to be able to build relationships and convert them into meaningful investment channels for our firm.
We are a boutique emerging fund manager. Our flagship Faes & Co Income Fund is focused on real estate lending. We have a niche strategy, originating and funding real estate bridging loans, with the aim of providing investors a consistent, stable, asset-backed return.
The Fund launched in 2023, and we have good momentum with the Fund's sales with both accredited investors directly, and through Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). The Fund is also available through the Schwab platform. We are looking for someone to join our highly motivated team to help drive sales, and build relationships, across all channels.
Our firm's principal, Christian Faes, has previously built large funds platforms in different geographies (now managing over $5 billion), and our small team is made up of experienced fund operators.
Requirements
Generally, our company’s culture will see you have:
- a willingness to work hard and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- the ability to build relationships and have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- the ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks accordingly
- a willingness to ‘get involved’ with the business and provide help and assistance as required
- experience using the latest cloud-based business efficiency platforms such as Google Business Apps, and Slack etc
- experience with Hubspot as a CRM, would be a big advantage
The ideal candidate will have:
- hustle, and the ability to pick up the phone and make calls, present our Fund, build relationships and get meetings for our key people with RIAs and investors.
- experience with sales and a working knowledge of the alternative investment landscape would be helpful.
