Job Overview:

As a Delivery Driver for Stash House Hemp, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to customers. You will be responsible for transporting hemp and CBD products from our distribution center to retail locations or customers' homes in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Your ability to manage time effectively and provide exceptional customer service will directly contribute to the success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Delivery of Products: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of hemp products to designated destinations. Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations while driving.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers during the delivery process. Address any customer questions or concerns in a friendly and solution-oriented manner.
• Product Verification: Confirm that the correct products are loaded into your vehicle and ensure they are delivered to the right location, as per order details. Verify and document the condition of products during delivery.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays. Utilize GPS and other tools to navigate unfamiliar areas.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensure proper handling of product stock during deliveries. Report any discrepancies to the logistics or warehouse team.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any customer signatures, product returns, or damaged goods. Complete delivery logs and required paperwork on time.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the transportation of hemp and cannabis-related products. Follow company guidelines on secure transportation and handling of products.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle. Conduct basic maintenance checks on the vehicle before each shift (e.g., oil levels, tire pressure, fuel).
• Communication: Stay in constant communication with the logistics or warehouse team to report delays, accidents, or any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse staff and logistics manager to coordinate deliveries and ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License: Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving or similar roles preferred. Experience in the cannabis or hemp industry is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to sit, drive, and handle deliveries for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for verifying orders, inspecting products, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Customer-Focused: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of customers.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
