In addition to growing these brands in the US, the Wellbeing collective is looking to expand the brands into global markets. Our International Expansion organization focuses on scaling our largest brands (Liquid IV, OLLY, and Nutrafol) across key international clusters. Today we have launched and are present in more than 7 markets, with plans for further expansion. Purpose of the Role
The CMI Lead, International Expansion is the strategic growth engine behind our global market and innovation expansion. This role will build, own, and scale the insights capability that fuels our international strategy, innovation pipeline, and local market execution. You’ll work in close partnership with the Global Innovation & Operations Lead (Innovation pipeline, NPD, global market entry strategy) and Cluster General Managers (e.g., LATAM, EU, APAC) to turn insight into impact — shaping where we go, how we enter, and how we win. This is a unique opportunity to build the CMI muscle of a global wellness challenger, driving growth through consumer obsession, sharp foresight, and commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fuel Innovation and Market Expansion with Insight
Act as the CMI business partner to the Global Innovation & Operations Lead for Liquid I.V., ensuring innovation and NPD decisions are grounded in deep consumer understanding and market opportunity.
Shape market-entry strategies through foresight and market landscaping, identifying growth spaces, consumer need states, and whitespace opportunities.
Lead consumer testing strategies for new propositions, claims, pack/price architectures, and brand positioning.
2. Enable Cluster GMs to Win in Market
Partner closely with cluster GMs (e.g., LATAM, EU, APAC) to translate global strategy into locally relevant insight playbooks, ensuring sharp, insight-led execution.
Provide demand signals, consumer behaviour shifts, and retail landscape intelligence to shape marketing and commercial plans at cluster level.
Build scalable tools, frameworks, and dashboards to enable local teams to act fast with confidence.
3. Build Future Foresight Capability
Lead category foresight work across hydration, wellness, and functional nutrition — identifying early signals, new consumer rituals, and emerging channels.
Integrate social listening, trend analysis, and external partnerships to stay ahead of where consumers are going, not just where they are.
4. Drive Business Performance Insights
Synthesize in-market performance (sales, share, distribution, penetration, pricing) with consumer and shopper insights to shape both strategy and action.
Lead tracking and reporting for launches and key brand moments, delivering insights that sharpen execution and inform global playbooks.
5. Champion an Insight-First Culture
Build and scale best-in-class global CMI practices to enable lean, agile, insight-driven decision making.
Partner across functions — Marketing, CD, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain — to embed insight upstream in decision making, not just downstream.
Qualifications & Experience
Established and proven experience in consumer insights, analytics, strategy, or consulting; CPG experience preferred.
Proven track record translating data and trends into actionable strategy.
Strong background in innovation insights, market landscaping, foresight, and performance analytics.
Experience working in or supporting global/regional businesses with multiple markets or clusters.
Familiarity with syndicated data, custom research (quant & qual), and social listening tools.
Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments.
