Role & Organization 

The Global Corporate Bank manages J.P. Morgan's relationships with corporations and financial institutions globally to address clients’ banking needs and help them to grow. 

Within the Global Corporate Bank, our Venture Capital Relationships Team (VCRT) builds relationships with Partners in leading Venture and Growth Equity Firms in Europe. The VCRT team promotes all relevant JPMorgan services to VC and Growth Funds.

Job responsibilities 

You will seek to originate cross-line of business opportunities for JPMC by meeting Partners in leading Venture Capital and Growth Equity firms in DACH, in collaboration with the Innovation Economy team and the Investment Bank and Private Bank.

Experience required

  • Strong relationships with Partners in leading VC and Growth Funds in Germany.
  • Collaborative partner that liaises with colleagues across lines of business including the Corporate & Investment Bank, Private Bank, Technology Strategy Team, Growth Fund.
  • Experience in originating opportunities with portfolio companies via VC Funds.
  • Knowledge of the Venture Capital industry in Germany/Europe.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with Partners at Venture Funds, get referrals to leading portfolio companies and build strong networks.

Skills

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong connections with Partners in Venture Capital firms in Germany
  • Excellent verbal, sales and listening skills
