About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our global team and lead the optimization of our prefabrication and installation processes within the N&H market. Reporting directly to the I&C Global Director, this role is key to ensuring the success of our Installation & Commissioning (I&C) function worldwide.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and drive efficiency in prefabrication planning, partner management, and site installation activities. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring close collaboration across Engineering, Supply Chain, Proposal, Project Management, and I&C Coordination teams globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global installation planning and prefabrication initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project requirements.
- Develop and optimize the network of internal and external prefabrication partners in collaboration with Supply Chain.
- Drive prefabrication planning, cost management, partner assignment, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Support I&C coordination as a Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance to internal teams and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, optimize costing, and implement best practices.
- Develop databases and tools to improve cost estimation, lead times, and project execution accuracy.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering high performance, engagement, and professional development.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental standards during prefabrication and installation.
- Support the global roll-out of efficient, standardized processes for skids assembly and site installation.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Construction Engineering, Food Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Workshop /Construction/ manufacturing/ or Fabrication Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Office.
- Ability to travel globally up to 15% for short-term assignments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of P&IDs, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/control installation.
- Extensive experience in mechanical construction and installation, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-function, multi-country projects.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across global teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement process improvements and drive results.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental hazard control during installation.
