The current tasks we would like to have support are maintaining and updating drawings and Material Masters (MMs) for a full buyout of VA500, support for further structuring safety valves as well as a current topic from purchasing (Fasani drawings). These tasks involve significant repetitive and administrative work. These tasks include:

1. Maintain and change the drawings and MMs (#>500) for 100 % Buy out of VA500:
   • Drawings need to be checked, if they state of the art for purchasing reasons,
   • request rework and/or do the rework themselves,
   • MM maintaining: most of the MMs are Make items. To change them new MMs which are Buy items need to be set up, maintained and released,
   • minimize the effort to the flat BOMs the new MMs need to be put at the right in the BOM/MM structure.
2. Maintain and change MMs (#>500) for safety valves to have them set up correctly as a Buy item.
   • Establish a copy of a current Make item (which is bought, so no add. head costs are applied),
   • set them up correctly as a Buy item,
   • structure them between raw and make item (which ensures that at any time we are are able to change between make and buy) /wo changing the Flat BOMS/configurator.
3. Change existing Fasani drawings (#>100) with a Tyco Logo on it, as purchasing is not allowed to send them out for purchasing:
   • Open the drawing,
   • check it out of the system,
   • stamp/remove the logo,
   • save the drawing (under a new name/number),
   • check it in,
   • request for release,
   • change if needed the related material master (MM) in SAP.
