About this opportunity

Ericsson Inc. seeks an ASIC Developer in Austin, TX; Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to work closely with 3rd-party IP vendors to integrate the SerDes PHY into subsystems such as CPRI, Ethernet, PCIe, and JESD.

 

What you will do:

Pre-Silicon Verification of SerDes PHY. Plan and align the execution of upcoming projects with various stakeholders such as RTL designers and 3rd-party IP vendors. Test plan creation and execution according to design and specification requirements. Test creation/enhancement using UVM. Test and testbench environment development including RTL debug. Usage of Simvision and Verisium tools for simulations. Enhancement of testbench components. Debug of checker and scoreboard issues. Worked on development of covergroups and coverpoints for analyzing coverage of new features. Usage of Agile methodology for task planning. Usage of Jira tool for task progress and bug tracking. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.

 

 

You will bring:

 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in Asic Development.


4 years of experience to include:

  1. Verilog or System Verilog including debugging RTL experience at ASIC, SOC or IP level;
  2. Universal Verification Methodology including development of checkers, drivers, scoreboards, sequences, testbench and test cases;
  3. Object Oriented Programming;
  4. Simulators including usage of CAD tools for development and debug purposes from Synopsys or Cadence;
  5. Hardware interfaces including data transfer and register access interfaces including AMBA protocols or similar;
  6. Scripting in Perl, TCL or Python.
