Your impact 

 

Reporting to the People Director, Boddington in the position of Learning Management System & Technical Training Advisor you will be the subject matter expert and custodian of the Learning Management System (LMS) and coordinate, execute and measure compliance against training standards and generate training reports and analytics to support improving training compliance across Newmont’s Boddington mine operations.

 

As part of our team you will 

 

  • Manager functional ownership of the LMS including identifying and testing functionality
  • Liaise with HR and IT teams about LMS configuration, functionality and LMS training methodology
  • Assess effectiveness of LMS training and identify and recommend areas for improvement
  • Monitor and analyse training data and report on training progress and compliance
  • Coordinate and executive Newmont’s training standards across Boddington site-based teams

 

Prerequisites for your success in the role 

 

  • Demonstrated hands-on technical training and delivery experience, ideally in the mining industry
  • Extensive knowledge of Learning Management Systems and e-Learning application software
  • Training methodology and delivery capability across multi-disciplinary site-based teams
  • Understanding of mining industry learning standards and compliance within national frameworks
  • Confident communication style and familiarity with interface training delivery methodology
  • High-level analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in leveraging LMS data for insights, compliance tracking, and performance
  • Advanced skills in MS Office software applications
  • Full and unrestricted eligibility for employment in Australia.

Newmont Boddington is a world-class gold and copper operation located within the Saddleback greenstone belt in Western Australia, approximately 130 kilometres southeast of Perth and 16 kilometres from the rural farming town of Boddington.

 

Situated on 33,000 hectares of land traditionally owned by the Wiilman people of the Noongar nation, Boddington is a drive-in, drive-out site that offers employees the opportunity to live locally or in Western Australia’s southwest.

 

This permanent 5:2, 4:3 site-based position will be offered on a drive in, drive out basis to Boddington from Perth and will suit applicants currently living in Perth, Western Australia.  Site-based village accommodation will be provided.
