THE ROLE 

A Rated People Account Executive supports tradespeople through different phases of the customer lifecycle; listening to and acting on their needs, their wants and delivering a best-in-class tradesperson experience. You will have specific accounts to look after dependant on the life cycle stage. Your focus will be on ensuring that the tradesperson has the support they need to be successful and grow on the platform. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of tradespeople, providing timely support and guidance to help them get the best from our platform.
  • Respond to inbound queries and issues, ensuring high-quality service and a positive customer experience.
  • Identify potential risks to account retention and escalate any challenges or emerging issues to the relevant internal teams.
  • Support engagement initiatives, including promoting platform features, marketplace updates, and campaigns to encourage active usage.
  • Monitor account engagement metrics and highlight any changes in behaviour or patterns to inform proactive outreach.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes, outreach strategies, and tools to enhance efficiency and impact.
  • Act as the voice of the tradesperson internally, championing product and service improvements that enhance platform adoption and satisfaction.
  • Complete outreach where required, balancing quantity and quality of interactions.

 

Required skills and experience:

  • You have experience of working in a similar Customer Success or Account Management team.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and customer service.
  • You are comfortable using CRM systems and basic data analysis in Excel.
  • You have excellent listening skills, diplomatic with the ability to guide the customers in the right direction.
  • You have attention to detail and follow-through on commitments.
  • You have excellent spoken and written skills.
  • You are organised, and can manage multiple accounts with competing priorities.
  • You are adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • A background in Sales is a plus (you might be looking to move out of sales – this would be a good match!)
