Your Role 

The ​Enterprise Architecture & Innovation​ team ​helps manage and align Health Plans’ technology infrastructure with its business goals, ensuring that independently conceived and deployed solutions do not lead to unnecessarily complicated and expensive siloed systems. It defines the enterprise business & technology capabilities and their relationships to run, grow, and transform the business​. The ​Enterprise Architect, Principal​ will report to the ​Sr. Director Enterprise Application Architecture​. In this role you will ​collaborate with business and technology leaders, stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to understand strategic business initiatives and develop technical solutions that satisfy those needs. This individual has extensive knowledge in multiple business and architecture domains, is forward-thinking, and is well-versed in emerging technologies and trends. Must possess the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to articulate the value of a strong enterprise architecture function to critical business stakeholders.​. Responsibilities

Your Work 

​In this role, you will:​ 

  • Develop and maintain reference architecture for digital channel (web, mobile, chat, email, voice) technology stack, including the definition of application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers. 
  • Define integration architecture for interfaces between digital channels and other enterprise applications such as Facets, Snowflake data warehouse, and several major business applications. 
  • Develop solution architectures for various business initiatives that have a dependency on digital experiences. 
  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture blueprints that articulate our business strategy, future state business and technology architecture, and multiyear execution roadmap. 
  • Collaborate with other architects to create and document standards and patterns that can be leveraged for future re-use, and actively seek opportunities to leverage industry solutions for new business offerings and services. 
  • Develop and maintain reference architecture which includes the reference model, guiding principles, standards, patterns, and usage guidelines. 
  • Create contextual and conceptual models that help document and simplify potentially complex topics. 
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of models that identify interdependencies between business units, roles, associated capabilities, and technologies. 

 

 

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience with omni-channel digital technologies required.  These include defining architecture solutions for web, mobile, chat, mobile push notification, and email campaign channels.  As well as supporting technologies, such as: content management, profile & preference management, context awareness management, intelligent search, customer communication management, personalization engine, UX management, knowledge management. 
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and industry technologies is critical. 
  • Requires at least 10 years of relevant IT experience. 
  • Requires at least 3 years of experience in an architecture role. 
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the healthcare industry preferred. 
  • BS in Computer Science, Science, or Engineering. BS or BA in other disciplines is acceptable, supplemented with adequate relevant experience. 
  • MS in Computer Science or related disciplines is preferred. A strong track record of architectural practice and success in a large environment. 
  • Enterprise Architecture Methodology certification preferred.

o   Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.
