Responsibilities:

·  Reporting

   Under general direction, independently execute routine & intermediate transactions and resolve problems. Prepare and validate reports and maintain controls in alignment with internal policies and clients' needs.

·  Stakeholder Interaction & Problem solving

   Interface with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff, legal, relationship management, IT, banks, brokers, custodians, portfolio managers, and/or traders to obtain information and resolve problems.

·  Self-Initiated Research

   Enhance understanding of Principal Global Investors' products, team procedures, and clients' needs through self-initiated research, participation in available training programs and involvement in on-going investment activities.

·  Other Project related activities

   Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Qualifications:

Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers; operate in an ethical manner in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, the company's Corporate Code of Ethics, employee handbook, applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures, and other policies of the company. Possess a high degree of integrity and actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the Principal Financial Group.

• At least 15 years of formal education preferably in Finance/Commerce.

• Minimum of 3.5-5 years’ Account/Finance/Reporting experience in the domain of Mutual Funds/Asset Management, Banking, or any other financial services organization. Excellent knowledge of Excel/Advanced Excel is essential.

Able to perform data analysis using “What If Analysis Function” should be able to understand/manipulate/present data, trends using basic statistical formulae

• Hands on documentation, making SOP and willingness to work in multiple shifts.

• Good comprehension skills, analytical skills, good typing skills, detail-oriented, multitasking, ability to prioritize, good written & verbal communication skills, experience in navigating the internet. Ability to work on different applications.

• Knowledge of, or ability to obtain knowledge of, financial services and investment related terminology.

• Consistently able to meet timing requirements and maintain SLA and produce work with high degree of accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail to demonstrate possession of problem solving and interpersonal skills.

• Able to read and interpret request, apply correct rules, and accurately process data inputs.

• Success in this position requires a client service orientation, the ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven, team-based environment. Must be able to prioritize effectively and be flexible as business needs change.
