Administrative Assistant
 
 
Permanent, full-time (36 hours per week), all-year round
 
 
Starting January 2026 (or negotiable)
 
 
Salary: £32,016 – £33,826 inclusive per annum
 
We’re looking for an experienced and committed Administrative Assistant to work in a busy and friendly office with a full-time Office Manager and a full-time Administrative Assistant, both all year-round. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful sixth form college. The post-holder will provide a full range of administrative support in the main office and to other departments across the College. The successful applicant will manage an interesting and diverse workload whilst often liaising with staff, students, parents and the general public.
 
 
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a positive attitude and plenty of enthusiasm who is able to work under pressure and use their own initiative. As the first point of contact at the College, a professional and welcoming manner is essential. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, competency with databases and a good telephone manner are also required.
 
 
The salary will be in the range of Point 11 to 13 on the sixth form college support staff salary spine, dependent upon experience. This is currently £28,634 – £30,444 plus £3,382 Outer London Allowance.
