Position Summary

HR Shared Services group is a centralized hub of all operational and administrative processes characterized by employee self-service through defined hire to retire processes leveraging technology and multi-tiered levels of service and service responses. It enables the HR function to separate operational from the strategic facilitating each HR function to focus on their core competencies.

Th incumbent will be responsible for handling employee life cycle processes (preboarding to offboarding), gathering and preparing cyclical and ad-hoc HR reports, and dashboards, handling employee queries related to processes, policies and systems as well as collaborating with other HR functions on all employee related operations/ projects. The Executive will also be required to review and suggest process improvements, lead or drive initiatives in the realm of operational excellence through use of new age tools or available HR technology platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Process Governance & Delivery

  • Oversee and manage all hire to retire processes including onboarding, employee data management, payroll inputs, performance management support, exit and post-exit support.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance standards, and data accuracy across all HR operations.
  • Monitor process health through dashboards, metrics, and regular audits.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Shared Services executives.
  • Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely resolution of employee queries.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Drive standardization and digitization of HR operations in partnership with technology teams.
  • Support implementation of new modules or upgrades in HR systems (e.g., Empower, Employee Central).

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, labour laws, and data privacy regulations.
  • Maintain documentation for audits.
  • Address escalations and discrepancies with appropriate resolution protocols.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate and analyze reports on operational metrics, employee lifecycle data, and service delivery performance.

Education

Master's Equivalent in HR

Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in HR operations/shared services, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.

     

    Must have Skills: -

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Basic data management and reporting
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and build partnerships with all stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Skills that give you an edge: -

  • Hands on experience of SAP SuccessFactors (at least with EC module) and ServiceNow or a similar HRMS and query management product
