We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kill Floor Foreperson at our Riverina Plant. The Riverina Plant is a 5 day operation which employs approximately 450 people. Located 75km southeast of Griffith, in the heart of the Murrumbidgee irrigation district. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervision in all aspects of the Kill Floor/Follow On and Offal Room.
• Ensure compliance with WH&S and Environmental regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and MSQA programmes and processes. 
• Revenue maximisation and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Timely and accurate record keeping and information/paperwork flow.
• Participation in workplace projects as required.

 KEY CRITERIA:

• Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity.
• Demonstrated integrity and a professional work attitude.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sound technical knowledge of meat processing including product flow and manning requirements.
• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking.
