Role Description
This position is responsible for providing business analysis and software support to all North Wind locations.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, and databases
- Manage the set-up and configuration of software systems, including training and configuration
- Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet the business and user needs
- Support the software reported to the help desk, documenting and improving systems, providing training, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance, including training end-users.
- Analyze the needs of the appropriate business unit. Lead the design and implementation of suitable information systems through coordination with end users.
- Perform business analysis, document workflows, and create business and functional requirements. Provide the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Preferred Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in related field; or
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
- Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge developing or maintaining application in the Azure cloud environment
- Providing analysis, and solutions-based problem-solving skills.
- Experience with one or more of these programming languages: PHP, HTML, Python, Java, Java Script, .Net, SQL
- Experience with LINUX a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro
