This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining, auditing, and assisting with Reliability Excellence (RX) and Process Safety Management (PSM). Additional duties performed by this role include developing and maintaining procedures, analyzing data, identifying, and completing reliability improvement projects.

Days 8:00am - 4:30pm or based on the project need
5% Travel
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities
Reliability Engineering
- Develop predictive and preventative maintenance procedures/programs. And analyze data for improvements of Rx procedures/programs
- Performs analysis of maintenance and production data to initiate and support RX related improvement projects
- Leads site in reaching all Rx metrics goals. When needed, performs audits and supports actions to ensure sustainability in the Rx program
- Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for failures of critical assets. Follows up on corrective actions and validation methods to prevent asset failure reoccurrence
- Participates in Reliability Bootcamps (Rx), site training on the Sherwin Reliability program.
- Lead efforts to plant cost in regards to critical assets for maintenance
- Supports plant shutdowns as required
Process Safety Management (PSM) Mechanical Integrity
- Serve as site Mechanical Integrity Champion
- Coordinate all Process Safety Management (PSM) and Detailed Engineering Process (DEP) tank inspections as well as ancillary equipment inspections
- Serve as site lead for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (Maintenance Connection) including training new users, updates to site asset tree, and PM creation and management
- Develop proactive replacement and upgrade schedules for critical site infrastructure based on mechanical integrity findings
Project Management
- Lead Reliability Excellence continuous improvement projects. This role includes the use of structured problem solving and project management methodologies
- Incumbent will lead project teams to ensure the successful completion of team objectives. Take the lead on Core Team, and continuously improve the Reliability Excellence program and eAM system to meet Sherwin’s needs
- Prioritize multiple projects, budgets, and timelines
- May attend outside contractor bid walk meetings at the beginning of equipment installation in the field and through project implementation to gain process knowledge
- Provides Reliability Engineering related design input as a member of the project team for smaller capital and Continuous Improvement projects
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Must have two (2) years’ experience in Engineering, Operations or a Technical field
Preferred Qualifications:
At least have a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering Degree
At least have one (1) year experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM) covered facility
At least have one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
At least have one (1) year experience working in Maintenance, Reliability and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
