Job Description:The Administrative Analyst, Systems - ERP is responsible for supporting the administration, change control, and deployment of customizations withing our Epicor Kinetic ERP environment. The role is idea for an Epicor generalist who thrives on reducing support tickets through proactive problem-solving and process improvement. The analyst will work closely with the ERP team, and cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity and smooth transitions from test to production environments. This role will assist in end user management and security controls for those users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- The analyst will play a key part in maintaining and enforcing change control procedures for ERP modifications
- Manages user accounts, roles, and permissions in Epicor Kinetic
- Ensures compliance with security protocols and audit requirements
- Documents changes and maintains version controls in a highly organized manner
- Assists in testing and validation of BPMs, dashboards, BAQs, and other customizations
- Collaborates with developers and business users to ensure customizations meet functional requirements
- Manages the support queues in the Jira ticketing system
- Creates and maintains user guides, SOPs, and training materials
- Provides support and training to front line support as needed
- Conduct testing and assist with user training
- Produce reporting and analysis to identify root causes of support issues
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives

- Ability to optimize business processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in testing and quality assurance to ensure defect-free system changes and upgrades
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and end users
- Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed documentation
- Understanding of data migration, integration, and reporting within Epicor ERP
- Strong verbal and presentation skills to communicate effectively with corporate management, franchisees and their staff, company employees and vendors
- Discretion and judgment in working with confidential information
- A self-starter who is deadline and project minded
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and respond to evolving business needs
- Ability to train and support users on Epicor ERP functionality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience working with Epicor ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong understanding of business processes and requirements gathering with an emphasis on manufacturing operations and supply chain
- Strong background and knowledge of business processes associated with custom manufacturing, and ability to align ERP processes with business needs
- Experience with SQL databases including SQL queries, Views, Stored Procedures, SQL Jobs, and SQL Server Reporting Studio (SSRS), is preferred
