We are seeking a highly organized, curious, and creative Marketing Associate to join our growing team. While you’ll support all Starco Brands, the primary focus will be on our two most culturally buzzy brands: 

 

Skylar -  viral, clean fragrance brand at Sephora and refounded by Leah Kateb 
Whipshots - vodka-infused whipped cream co-founded by Cardi B 

 

You’ll be the connective tissue across teams, helping to bring campaigns, influencer programs, product launches, and event activations to life. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about marketing, social media, and brand storytelling, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

 

You will get hands-on experience working directly with the VP of Marketing, as well as collaborating closely with our creative team, product development team, PR team, eCommerce team, and external agencies. This is a highly supportive role designed to help you learn, contribute, and grow. 

 

Role and Responsibilities 

Social Media Support 

  • Assist in building and managing social media content calendars across Skylar, Whipshots, and additional Starco Brands 

  • Draft captions, help schedule posts, and support daily community management (comments, DMs, tagged content) 

  • Supporting in brainstorming social strategy and viral moments for the brand to participate in. 

Influencer Marketing Coordination 

  • Assist and work with our PR agency to source influencers across the CPG category 

  • Track influencer deliverables and collect content for social and internal use 

  • Work with operations team to ensure timely shipments of products to influencers 

Campaign Development & Creative Support 

  • Participate in brainstorms for brand moments, launches, social trends, and content ideas 

  • Support drafting short-form marketing copy for social, email, web, and retail channels 

  • Assist with creating decks, briefs, moodboards, and presentations for internal and external partners 

  • Coordinate with creative, PR, product development, ecommerce, and operations teams to support cross-functional initiatives 

Event & Activation Support 

  • Assist with planning and coordination of retail activations, launch events, influencer events, and pop-ups 

  • Support with event logistics including product organization, signage, supplies, and onsite materials 

  • Support post-event recaps and content organization. 

Qualifications


What We’re Looking For 

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, social media, or influencer roles 

  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills 

  • Excitement to learn and grow under direct VP mentorship 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects across brands 

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through 

  • Passion for beauty, pop culture, and consumer marketing
