Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Associate Manager for the Strike Systems Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting JASSM and LRASM programs by operating in an “above the shop‑floor” capacity, acting as an effective manufacturing liaison between the program office, internal production sites, and external suppliers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers, driving collaboration and partnership between the program team and manufacturing sites, influencing design producibility, transitioning new or revised designs into production, and supporting manufacturing trade studies and process improvements.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Drive collaboration between program offices, production sites, and suppliers to optimize production.
- Influence design for producibility and shepherd designs from development to production.
- Conduct manufacturing trade studies and implement process improvements.
- Ensure program output meets customer commitments and schedule targets.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering Experience
• Prior experience in a leadership capacity
• Ability to lead cross functional teams
• Ability to liaison between LM Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and Production Operations
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to travel up to 25%
Desired skills
• Experience with CREO/Pro-E/Catia and Model Based Engineering
• Experience with leading teams
• Experience in effective team leadership in planning and execution of Process Improvements and technical solutions
• Knowledge of MFC systems such as SAP, Apriso, etc. for producing hardware
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical people
• Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships
• Ability to perform trade studies and present results to leadership

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
