The Purpose of This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong individual to join our Corporate Services Technology(CST) unit as a Senior Manager – Business Strategy. This individual contributor role will function as an extension of the Global CST Strategy & Planning (S&P) team and will be pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, supporting senior leadership, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategy, planning, and program management, with a passion for solving complex business problems through data and collaboration.
The Value You Deliver
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Leading and supporting strategic planning that includes headcount management, budgeting, resource allocation, and requisition management.
- Supporting India leadership in the form of preparing materials for local events and assisting in the coordination of trip agendas for visiting executives.
- Driving alignment between global and local site strategies. Developing frameworks for tracking progress against strategic goals and initiatives.
Business Analytics & Reporting
- Delivering high-quality management reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Analysis of financial, operational, and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Creating dashboards and reports using tools like Excel.
Program & Portfolio Management
- Collaborating with Global CST S&P team to manage requisitions, staffing plans, and hiring pipelines.
- Tracking and reporting on budget vs. actuals across travel, training, and other operational areas.
- Facilitating staffing vendor performance reviews and staffing strategies.
Organizational Capability Development
- Coordinating with HR and leadership to support workforce planning, leadership development, and attrition analysis.
- Driving initiatives to improve employee experience and organizational health.

Technical / Behavioral
- Strong proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with headcount and demand management tools.
- Experience in financial planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Intermediate to expert level Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strategic thinker with a high level of ownership and initiative.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as an extension of a global team.
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
- Demonstrated experience in mid-senior level stakeholder management
- Exposure to SharePoint
- Exposure to Tableau/PowerBI is a plus.

Corporate Services Technology (CST) focuses on providing robust and reliable technology support to corporate functions within Fidelity. The Strategy and Planning team provides business operations support including workforce planning, portfolio management, quarterly and annual planning routines.
This role is central to enabling the Corporate Services Technology team to deliver on its mission of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. By supporting leadership with strategic insights and operational planning, the Principal – Portfolio and Business Management will help shape the future of the organization and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of IT Industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- MBA or equivalent is a plus.
