Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Deli Supervisor to join our Deli Team on a full-time basis at our Food Store location in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Deli Manager, this leadership role plays a key part in supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional member and customer experiences.
What you’ll do:
Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Support the Deli Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating the Deli team.
Assist in the day-to-day operations including food preparation, inventory management, receiving, and merchandising.
Help achieve department goals related to sales, margins, and shrink by ensuring efficient planning and execution.
Actively work on the sales floor, leading by example and promoting a positive, productive work environment.
Support the performance management process by helping to train, develop, and supervise team members.
Ensure compliance with Alberta Food Safety regulations, including sanitation and temperature logs.
Promote and model safe food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance procedures.
Be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Demonstrate behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen Cornerstone Co-op’s vision, mission, and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You have completed Grade 12 or bring a combination of education and relevant experience.
You have previous supervisory or leadership experience in a food retail or kitchen environment (preferred).
You’re energetic, customer-focused, and passionate about food and service.
You’re a strong team player who leads by example and encourages collaboration.
You’re honest, reliable, and driven to succeed.
You’re physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
