Job Description
The GSOC Manager will have responsibility in maintaining the high standards established around identification, assessment and response to global safety and security incidents. Success will be measured through personal accomplishments and driving results within the GSOC.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Drives the global assessment of safety and security risks; and ensures appropriate business response through the preparation of the organization's business continuity plan (BCP)
- Lead the advancement of the organization's global security intelligence program, focusing on actionable data to proactively protect the company, employees, and assets.
- Lead analyst staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all information, financial, physical, personal, and reputational risk areas.
- Develop relationships with high-level law enforcement officials and international counterparts, including international security agencies, intelligence, and other relevant governmental functions and private sector counterparts worldwide.
- Coordinates activities to protect executives, managers, employees, customers, stakeholders, visitors, etc., while traveling in high-risk regions.
- Research, develop, and deliver education and awareness information on security-related concerns to executives, associates, and other designated individuals.
- Oversee the financial performance of the programs (cost and schedule) against assigned metrics and organizational efficiency goals.
- Provide leadership in working collaboratively with other divisions of the company to accomplish strategic objectives, profitable organic growth, and increased company value.
- Recruit, train, develop, and lead a team of Global Security Analysts; provide thought leadership to support personal and professional growth.
- Manage physical security to include access control, CCTV systems and other solutions to ensure safety and security of A&F associates and facilities.
- Willingness to be on-call and travel with little notice for emergency and exigent circumstances.
- Deploys security management techniques to safeguard the organization’s personnel and assets. Establishes appropriate standards and associated security controls to embed in business processes.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience managing global safety and security operations in roles with increasing responsibility and strategic leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in emergency and crisis management.
- Solid understanding of physical and reputational risk factors and methods for mitigating such risk.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of various access control platforms, video management systems and incident management applications/software.
- Must be a team player with strong communication (both oral and written), interpersonal and consultative skills.
- An acute sense of discretion and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Strong fiscal discipline and ability to expertly manage large budgets.
- Willingness to be on-call and travel for emergency and exigent circumstances.
