About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Oracle EPM (Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications) to support finance controlling and planning processes. This role involves managing end-to-end close cycles, maintaining hierarchical structures, and collaborating closely with finance teams for budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation. The individual will deliver projects on time, ensure minimal defects, and provide techno-functional expertise to enhance business processes.
What you will do
- Implement projects for finance controlling and planning using Hyperion components such as Essbase and Planning.
- Manage end-to-end close cycles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of MEC processes.
- Maintain and enhance metadata and hierarchical structures.
- Collaborate with finance planners during planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Provide techno-functional expertise for budgeting, cost allocation, and consolidation processes.
- Oversee development projects, including scheduling, communication, and resource alignment.
Who you are
- Strong background in finance controlling and planning.
- Hands-on experience with Hyperion Essbase and Planning applications (version 11.1.2.2 or higher).
- Proficient in ASO/BSO cube development and Smart View reporting.
- Skilled in SQL, Oracle Data Integrator, and UNIX shell scripting.
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Innovative thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- 2–7 years of relevant experience in financial systems and business processes.
