Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 8 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • 8 years of experience in a partner or customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of experience in operations management (i.e. process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc).
  • 8 years of experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems/commands.
  • Experience with Android, mobile infrastructure, carrier networking, connectivity, telephony, Embedded SIM (eSIM), Rich Communication Services (RCS) and related communication protocols.

About the job

The Carrier Partner Engineering team is the bridge between Google/Android software and our mobile carrier partners.

As a Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, you will innovate and lead ecosystem-wide initiatives, drive business opportunities, and optimize implementations and integrations to grow partner success.

Additionally, you will enable carriers to adopt Google/Android software and manage technical aspects to build vibrant, successful, long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution for strategic partners, including driving launches, interoperability testing, providing direct integration support, and aligning partner roadmaps to ensure the seamless scaling and a unified user experience.
  • Become the trusted technical advisor for Android by helping partners troubleshoot network and application-level issues, and architect their solutions.
  • Work with our internal Engineering, Product, and Business Development teams to translate partner needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Define, monitor, analyze and present key performance metrics to measure the health and success of our partnerships.
  • Develop processes, tooling and partnerships in order to scale key Android initiatives across the ecosystem.
