What's the role?
Medium Rare, Australia’s leading content marketing agency, is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager to lead the commercialisation, performance, and partner relationships for Qantas Loyalty and Qantas Airways Tourism Partner Marketing. This role is a 12 month Max term contract to begin in January 2026.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee a team of four and drive the commercial strategy and budget across Qantas magazine, Travel Insider, Qantas social channels, EDMs, events, and key verticals including Qantas Hotels, Qantas Wine, and Qantas Shopping.
You’ll collaborate with senior creative and commercial leaders to deliver campaigns that engage Qantas Frequent Flyers, unlock long-term partnership opportunities, and strengthen existing relationships.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach. In return, you’ll join a fun, collaborative culture working with one of Australia’s most iconic brands.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end client relationships, managing briefs, feedback, meetings, and daily account delivery to ensure campaigns are on time, on budget, and high quality.
Write clear creative and production briefs and manage internal and external teams, including designers, content creators, strategists, producers, and talent agents.
Develop commercial strategies using multiple data sources and present insights in reports and presentations.
Apply SEO and digital marketing best practice to inform strategy and optimise campaigns across print, social, email, and digital channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams, fostering trust, respect, and accountability.
Manage time and priorities effectively to deliver excellent client service in a fast-paced environment.
Leverage understanding of digital media, ad operations, print production, and media planning to collaborate with Ad Tech, Ad Ops, and creative teams.
Who are you?
5+ years’ experience in commercial sales, account service, or marketing within a publisher, brand, or agency, with strong client production and project management skills.
A confident communicator and trusted advisor, able to quickly understand client objectives and challenges.
Skilled in content creation and production across multiple formats, channels, and platforms.
Strong professional writer, able to produce presentations, pitches, reports, strategy documents, and social content.
Experienced in developing innovative content ideas for partners across owned and paid media.
Confident leading client-facing meetings and presentations and preparing compelling materials.
Experienced supporting senior commercial or partnership leads in creating marketing and business development collateral.
Comfortable managing multiple brands, briefs, and projects in fast-paced environments.
Experienced in workshops or collaborative sessions with clients, stakeholders, or internal teams.
