Summary/Objective
The Medical Equipment Sales Specialist will lead the sales efforts of innovative products that streamline healthcare operations, improve overall efficiency and improve patient care. Our RFID scrub management system is revolutionizing how hospitals and clinics manage their scrubs, reducing costs, increasing accountability while ensuring staff always have access to clean, hygienic uniforms. The specialist will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and providing solutions to healthcare facilities while exhibiting the company’s core values
Essential Functions

- Sales Development: Prospect and cultivate new business opportunities within hospitals, healthcare systems, and clinics for RFID-based scrub management solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of client needs and position our RFID scrub management solutions as a must-have technology to improve scrub tracking, inventory management, and compliance.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as hospital administrators, procurement managers, and supply chain managers.
- Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Lead product demos and presentations to educate potential clients about the benefits and functionalities of our RFID scrub management systems.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and work closely with the customer to close sales while maintaining profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly and stay ahead of market demands.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging and to provide valuable insights into future product developments.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions using our CRM system.
- Accountability: Deliver results based on agreed upon annual sales plan and targets and performing well in all areas of the sales funnel.
Competencies
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and the challenges hospitals and healthcare facilities face with scrub management.
- Experience in healthcare technology sales or a related field.
- Proven ability to prospect, quality leads, present solutions, and close sales deals.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions that drive both operational efficiencies and cost savings.
- Strong history of hunting and self-generation of new leads and potential opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position primarily is completed in an office environment with some exposure to industrial environments. The use of PPE is required when working/visiting industrial environments.

May be required to sit for extended periods of time while demonstrating manual dexterity to accurately work on the telephone, computer keyboard, and other equipment. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds in the form of boxes of supplies or product components.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
Travel
Travel may be required to meet with equipment owners, attend conferences and attend other business-related meetings. Travel is anticipated to be less than 35%.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field OR at least 5 years of experience in a Business to Business (and ideally healthcare) sales role.
