Job Summary

The Revenue Accountant will support core accounting activities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role involves maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting in the reconciliation and analysis of revenue-related transactions. It is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Chartered or Management Accountant starting their career in corporate accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Prepare and post journal entries for revenue and general accounting activities.

Support month-end and quarter-end close processes through analysis and reporting.

Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss, income, and balance sheet reports.

Conduct regular account reconciliations and variance analysis to support business decisions.

Review and analyze inter-company transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment.

Assist in internal and external audit processes by ensuring documentation accuracy.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in special finance projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Management Accountant (CMA / CIMA).

0–2+ years of experience in the Revenue Accounting or General Accounting domain.

Sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in Excel and accounting tools for reporting and reconciliation.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have:

Exposure to Oracle Financials, SAP, or similar ERP systems.

Experience in inter-company accounting or fixed asset management.

Understanding of internal controls and audit processes.

Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in learning financial systems and processes.
