Grounds person/Bus Driver | FIFO | 2:1 | Higginsville en Sodexo

Sodexo is seeking an experienced and motivated Grounds Person / Bus Driver to join our team in a unique hybrid position at Higginsville.

In this dynamic role, you’ll support the smooth running of the village by carrying out varied grounds utility tasks, while also transporting passengers between the mine site, camp, and airport three days per week.

Roster & Hours

• 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, WA

• 11-hour working day

• 0.58 FTE (8 days) Service Attendant – Grounds Person

• 0.42 FTE (6 days) Service Attendant – Bus Driver

Grounds Utility Duties:

• General gardening, lawn mowing, whipper snipping, weed spraying

• Upkeep of reticulation systems

• Collection and disposal of rubbish onsite

• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor/common areas (BBQs, pressure washing, blower vac use)

• Weekly truck unload and stock rotation

• Pool maintenance (where applicable)

• Basic handyman duties

Bus Driving Duties:

• Transport residents between the site, village, and airport (3 days per week)

• Complete vehicle safety checks

• General upkeep and cleaning of vehicles

All applicants must be willing to undergo:

• Pre-employment medical & physical assessments

• Ongoing drug & alcohol testing

• Driving VOCs as required

• Current Police Certificate (issued within the last 6 months)

• Minimum of 2 employment-related referee checks

• Sodexo and site-based inductions

**MUST hold valid HR and PTD Authorisation to be considered

Forklift preferred but not essential
