~Temporary Full Time & Swing Shift~
*May be trained to float to Sentara BelleHarbour (freestanding emergency department)
- Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignment
- Swing Shift
- Hours: 11:00am-7:30pm, Monday-Friday, rotating weekends & holidays
- $48.00/hr (MLS/MT) and $45.00/hr (MLT)
- ASCP or AMT certification required
Overview
Performs laboratory tests; interprets results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical or biological science or Medical Laboratory Science OR
- Associates degree in medical technology
Certification/Licensure
- AMT Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) or ASCP Technologist (MLS/MLT)
Experience
- Previous blood bank experience (preferred)
