Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in System on a chip (SoC) manufacturing development and production ramp.
- 10 years of experience managing production relationships with foundry, OSAT’s, equipment and turnkey chip suppliers.
- Experience working with semiconductor fabrication technologies, yield analysis, process life-cycles and managing cost and quality initiatives in production.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in applying Statistical Process Controls (SPC) to identify problem areas across the manufacturing flow.
- Experience in applying AI/ML techniques to drive High Volume Manufacturing optimization to improve cycle time, cost and quality.
- Experience with test insertions from chip probe to final test, SLT to finished goods, and cycle-time optimizations across the full manufacturing flow.
- Knowledge of probability and statistical fundamentals to drive data analysis and process control.

As a Senior Silicon Product Supply Specialist, you will be selecting and managing suppliers who provide us wafer probe, assembly and final test capabilities to manufacture google cloud SOC’s. You will need to be able drive ATE tools (Automated Testing Equipment), SLT tools (System level tools), Probe cards, sockets, OSAT related tester and parts supplier delivery schedules to meet the volume ramp at quality. Using knowledge of the product, HPC compute and machine learning SOC’s, the manufacturing flow and the supply chain, you will drive predictable SOC deliveries to the customer on schedule and at high quality.
In this role, you will be required to proactively identify problem by creating the necessary metrics that span the manufacturing flow across foundry and OSAT’s, connecting it to board contract manufacturers and into data center deployment. You will be working with planning, operations, engineering and customer teams to resolve supply bottlenecks using your understanding of the OSAT operations, cycle time, yields/test times, capacity loading and product specifications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define and Execute SoC products operations covering NPI and HVM across all manufacturing insertions, Chip Probe, Final test, System level Test, Burn In to drive cost reduction, yield improvements and proactively identify/address capacity or quality issues across the manufacturing flow.
- Use demand forecasts to drive readiness across manufacturing suppliers, Foundry, OSAT and test equipment vendors.
- Utilize AI/ML models and data analysis tools to identify trends impacting product delivery schedules and put processes/infrastructure to measure/learn/address findings.
- Work closely with design, engineering, operations, and product management teams to gather inputs, validate forecasts, and ensure SoC manufacturing execution is aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with supply chain to optimize inventory levels, build and deploy real time product health and WIP tracking reporting infrastructure that encompasses manufacturing performance to metrics.
