Job Description

The Property Reserve Analyst is responsible for developing, monitoring, and reporting on capital reserve studies and long-term maintenance planning for the resort’s assets, including buildings, infrastructure, and amenities. This role ensures that adequate funds are reserved for major repairs, replacements, and improvements, helping the resort maintain its facilities, enhance guest experience, and protect asset value.

The analyst works closely with finance, operations, engineering, and ownership groups to forecast lifecycle costs, create capital funding schedules, and support decision-making on property improvements. 3-5 years of capital planning experience, financial analysis, facilities asset management, or related role preferred.  Must be 18+ with good driving record.

 

Requirements:

  •  Strong understanding of building systems, asset lifecycle costing, and capital expenditure forecasting
  •  Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and asset management software (e.g., VFA, Argus, or similar)
  •  Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  •  Strong communication skills to present complex financial/technical data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  •  Detailed-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  •  Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to executive leadership and ownership

 

Preferred:

  •  Hospitality or resort experience
  •  Experience with large-scale resorts, hotels, or mixed-use properties
  •  Familiarity with hospitality operations and owner association (HOA/POA) funding requirements
  •  Certifications such as RS (Reserve Specialist) or PCA (Professional Reserve Analyst) are highly desirable
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, facilities, and operations teams

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday – Additional days as needed
