Interconnections Specialist en SunVena

Description

• Responsible for handling several di?erent work streams for customers and projects to reach key milestones through construction.
• Responsible for day-to-day follow-up and communication with the di?erent utilities or other regulating organizations to ensure process completion in a timely manner.
• Complete interconnection applications and supporting documentation for all projects.
• Determine and process the correct paperwork per product, utility, or other regulating organizations.
• Coordinate budgeting and scheduling for interconnection related activities.
• Interdepartmental liaison for technical data gatherings to prepare the utility applications.
• Perform electrical analysis on transmission systems to identify capacity for potential projects and handling necessary transmission & interconnection processes of utilities and ISO’s.
• Responsible for daily input of appropriate notes for all utility tasks, manage project status updates, and generate necessary reports to complete assignments.
• Evaluate transmission and interconnection tari?s, costs, timelines, queue, and processes for a variety of markets and provide strategy between departments.
• Handle interconnection tari? related administrative responsibilities and necessary paperwork to support Sales Operations.
• Provide communication and build relationships with utilities/ISOs and track interconnection progress to ensure projects are complete in a timely and cost-e?ective manner.
• Provide technical support and coordination to Project Managers throughout the lifespan of projects.
• Create regular project interconnection status reports and monitor engineering milestones.
• Support clients by providing input to clients with regards to interconnection processes.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance interconnection and quality in practices utilized by the development department.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, installation processes, and industry best practices.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• E?ective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Experience in training and mentoring team members is desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• 2+ years of Florida Interconnection experience.
• Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations and codes governing solar installations.
