The Infection Prevention-Caregiver Health Supervisor role is responsible for implementation of facility infection prevention and caregiver health programs under the direction of system leadership of both programs. This role will report directly to the Director of Infection Prevention with secondary reporting to the Manager of Caregiver Health. The Supervisor will be provided support by the system program leaders to ensure program requirements are met.

Responsibilities
The Infection Prevention-Caregiver Health Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Implement facility application of clinical, quality, safety and infection prevention guidelines and procedures.
- Apply defined processes to:
- Promote evidence-based medicine,
- Report on outcome measures, and
- Coordinate patient-centered care delivery.
- Implement performance measure metrics to ensure achievement of clinical performance standards.
- Implement quality of care standards and perform monitoring and reporting of adherence.
- Organizes facility aggregated data, trends and action plans for committee communication plans.
- Collaborates with leadership team to address quality and safety deficits.
- Develop and implement workplans to support organizational strategic initiatives.
- Cultivates and maintains professional relationships with primary customers including operational, clinical and physician leaders, physicians, caregivers, patients, vendors, and external entities to foster opportunities for improvement in metrics related to quality, safety, patient experience.
- Supports fiscal accountability and achievement of financial goals and results through responsible budgetary management.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) years healthcare setting experience.
- One (1) year professional development, consultation or supervisory/leadership experience
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree in nursing or a healthcare related field required
SKILLS:
- Proficient in EHR and other common computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and others, as identified)
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Active and current clinical licensure
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
- Acute care setting preferred
- Experience in patient safety, risk management, accreditation, infection prevention, and/or developing and implementing clinical quality and/or process improvement initiatives.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Certification in healthcare quality, infection prevention or similar.
- Certification, knowledge, or expertise with performance improvement/CQI methodologies (e.g., Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma).
Current knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements for acute care services.
