BGIS is currently seeking a Program Manager (Data Center Lead) to join the team in Phoenix, AZ.

As the Program Manager (Data Center Lead), you’ll oversee daily operations and white space projects for data centers, acting as the primary liaison with Data Center Managers. You’ll lead a team of technicians, manage critical tasks, and ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with client SLAs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Oversight of Team Members
- Demonstrate strong, competent leadership for team members to guide them in reaching their full potential and meeting their objectives, which supports achievement of our corporate goals.
- Contribute actively to providing onboarding training and hands-on data center training to all team members.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to all team members.
- Conduct daily huddles with team members.
- Monitor daily performance to ensure client service is delivered in a timely and quality manner.
- Enable team members with framework to provide “run the business” support.
- Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Run the Business Leadership
- Regular walks through the Data Center daily.
- Effectively manage the ServiceNow ticketing queue, triaging tickets based on priority and scheduling work to meet / exceed SLA requirements.
- Perform Quality Checks and delegate Quality Checks to experienced data center technicians.
- Complete assigned and scheduled tasks in a timely manner in accordance with client deadlines.
- Provide guidance pertaining to physical installation and power-up (Rack & Stack) of servers, peripherals, and network equipment.
- Participate in SOP meetings and drive SOP development.
Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience with IT and networking systems, with exposure to technical and operations roles in a Data Center environment or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 Technical Certification or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with dynamic Colocation and Managed Services environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Data Center architectures and systems for raised floor space: equipment cabinets, containment solutions, final power distribution, computer systems, network systems, cabling systems, and communications circuits.
- Comprehension of Data Center core infrastructure (power, cooling, fire protection) and interactions with raised floor equipment standards.
- Proficiency with DCIM principles and applications.
- Positive focus to contribute to a team environment where diversity, knowledge transfer, and cohesiveness is promoted.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and other service providers to plan and execute tasks.
- Strong customer service skills and maintenance of good relations with clients and other team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with ServiceNow.

- Ability to work all shift schedules 7x24x365
- Availability to be on-call and respond to off hour emergency calls
