Seasonal Stock Associate en Lafayette 148 New York

Job Summary:

The Stock Associate will be responsible for the flow of merchandise from the stock room to the sales floor. He/she will organize/unpack the store’s merchandise and ensure all merchandise is easily accessible, visually appealing and constantly available on the selling floor. This role will assist the Store Manager with maintaining the floor based on Lafayette 148’s standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain an organized and efficient stockroom
• Ensure a seamless and orderly flow of deliveries and pick-ups with Lafayette 148 warehouse team
• Receive and process incoming stock shipments
• Manage inbound/outbound shipments and transfers
• Run stock between stockroom and sales floor
• Re-stock and re-organize the sales floor at the end of day to ensure it is ready for the next business day
• Facilitate customer deliveries via shipping, messenger and on-foot
• Work on additional related tasks as assigned

Desired Background:

• Associate’s degree or related trade training or higher

Experience:

• 1-3 years of inventory management experience within the luxury/designer sector

Skills:

• Highly organized, team player, effective communicator and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Proficiency in utilizing available job-related technology
• Must be flexible and have the ability work evenings, weekends and holiday schedule
• Ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solution-oriented problem solver

Base Pay:

The base pay rate is $18.00 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
