About the Role:

Step into a role where your expertise makes a real impact! Reporting to the Director of US Trade Services, as a US Trade Services Analyst, you’ll help clients stay compliant with U.S. Customs regulations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every detail. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys solving complex challenges, and takes pride in mentoring others. What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct post-entry reviews, communicate findings and training opportunities
  • Ensure compliance through CBP verifications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Communicate with CBP and Partner Government Agencies to resolve issues
  • Analyze reports to identify refund opportunities, assess client risks or duty impact
  • Provide expert guidance on tariff classification, FTA qualification, and other CBP programs
  • Prepare, file and bill post-entry claims
  • Coordinate CBP Binding Ruling Requests
  • Reconcile duty tenders and refunds
  • Petition and/or facilitate payment of CBP penalties and liquidated damages
  • Collaborate with team members during daily huddles and provide operational support

 

Who You Are:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional client service and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariff classification, and ACE functionality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and brokerage systems
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn while mentoring others


What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of Customs Brokerage experience
  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation
  • Licensed Customs Broker preferred

 

Working Conditions: Working with Minimal Supervision; Sitting at a Desk 95%


LOCATION: Pembina, ND or Columbia, SC office or Remote with necessary credentials (LCB)



HOURS OF WORK: Work hours approximately 9:00 am-5:30 pm CST; 40 hours per week

  • One Stat Holidays may be required to be worked annually
