About Our Exciting Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking an outstanding, professional, and highly adaptable Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of assigned Executive Officers. This position also acts as back up receptionist for the Corporate Office. The incumbent interfaces with executives, Board and Committee members, Credit Union members, vendors and Ambassadors. Some examples of administrative support required for this position are coordinating meetings as well as activities including management of travel arrangements and expense reporting, preparing and editing reports, writing and editing correspondence and policies.
The Administrative Assistant must have the flexibility to work extended hours and to travel periodically, which may include weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Professional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and professional image for projecting a positive professional image to Board and Committee members, Credit Union members, vendors, business associates and employees.
- Associate's degree in English, Business, or a related field preferred and/ or a combination of education and experience which provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at a professional level.
- Written and verbal communications skills to write and communicate on behalf of the supported Executive Officers.
- Must be able to prioritize a heavy workload and juggle multiple priorities. Must have extreme attention to detail, organization skills, and initiative.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and human relation skills. Ability to handle complex assignments and deal with all levels of management, employees, Board members, visitors, members and vendors.
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment and discretion and maintain strict confidentiality in performing daily functions.
