PURPOSE:
To provide comprehensive series support for international markets by managing option codes, facilitating engineering change management, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring effective communication and alignment across Engineering, Quality, Production, Logistics, and global partner locations to support project execution and product readiness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide series support for international markets, with primary focus on Argentina (as well as India and the USA).
- Manage and maintain new and existing option codes for multiple global markets.
- Support all activities related to engineering change management, including documentation and alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare, update and maintain technical documentation and project records.
- Act as a liaison between Engineering, Quality, Production, Logistics and global partner locations.
- Participate in global technical dialogue and ensure timely communication on project updates.
- Conduct status reporting on open issues, part maturity, releases and milestone readiness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field).
- 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Understanding of change management processes and related systems (ECM or similar platforms).
- Strong communication, coordination and documentation skills.
- Proactive, structured and self-driven working style.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience working in structured engineering environments preferred.
- German and Spanish language skills are a plus due to international market responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:
- Location: Charleston, SC
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Assignment Start: January 2026
- Assignment End: 12-month contract with option to extend
