Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Instructional Designer to create engaging, effective, and scalable training programs for employees across the company. This role plays a vital part in driving organizational performance and supports companywide learning initiatives spanning multiple business lines, including onboarding, systems training, compliance, leadership development, and operational enablement.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and developing both digital and instructor-led learning experiences and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and design learning experiences, courses, and curriculum that align with business goals and learning objectives.
- Create and edit online learning materials, ensuring clarity, engagement, and instructional integrity.
- Design and build learning activities, assessments, and assignments that drive knowledge retention and application.
- Analyze, update, and refine existing online content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design instructional content, including job aids, video scripts, assessments, and communications.
- Write scripts for instructional videos.
- Maintain awareness of current best practices, trends, and innovations in instructional design and adult learning.
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of instructional theory, including learning assessments and adult learning principles.
- Proven expertise in instructional design software and tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, and Canva.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple projects with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail, creativity, and a learner-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field strongly preferred.
Education/Experience:
- Degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or related field.
- Experience designing training for organizations with multiple lines of business or complex operations.
- Knowledge of instructional accessibility standards (ADA/508 compliance) and best practices.
- Proficiency in Spanish
