About the Department
Position Duties
A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR
A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.

Job Duties:
- Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.
- Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases by completing initial biopsychosocial assessments and orientation for new consumers; will also develop and implement personalized treatment plan with clients on the caseload, determines appropriate specialized treatment for clients as needed.
- Attends in-service trainings for staff and completes required trainings in a timely manner while assisting with the collection of TOMS and QOC surveys, as assigned.
- Organizes, leads, and/or participates in committees that plan, develop, and/or monitor Regional Behavioral Health Operations.
- May be required to perform other duties as necessary including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities.

Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty
Location: Tallulah Behavioral Health ClinicCompensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
- 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.
Applicants with licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker are encouraged to apply.
