The Job Role 

 

With the changing workforce dynamics, the need for seamless Unified Communications and AV has become more important than ever. Westcoast’s dedicated UC team focus on collaboration hardware and software vendors to complement our other key products pillars.

 

The successful candidate will bring their knowledge and experience of this category and help support the portfolio focusing on key resellers to target corporate customers and system integrators to deliver a flawless service to our reseller base and grow vendors within Westcoast.

 

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

 

  • Responsible for the sales engagement within reseller accounts, supporting to specify the correct technology for solution delivery, with focus to support best customer experience.

 

  • Growing existing and onboarded vendor partners within accounts, aiming to increase market share and create strategies with accounts to increase solution adoption.

 

  • Support Product Managers on forecasting for key projects, best-selling SKUs, and future promotional items in line with UC Business Manager.

 

  • Proactively working with vendor channel management teams to foster tri-party relationship and create more visibility around opportunities in the market.

 

  • Management of UC product pipeline within accounts, to provide visibility and delegation to account managers, assisting to close and win.

 

  • Educate Account Managers on expanding their knowledge in the UC portfolio to further enhance opportunities, ensuring to maintain and gain relevant UC solutions certifications as required.

 

  • Arranging relevant strategic client meetings alongside account managers to maximize potential opportunities, build pipeline and further develop the professional business relationships.

 

  • Work with Product managers and specialist teams in the business to capitalize on significant opportunities uncovered within accounts.

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure account retention and growth.

 

  • Establish a professional working relationship, up to the executive level, with the client.

 

  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving success factors in reseller accounts - becoming the trusted advisor.

 

  • Collaborating with teams to develop innovative ideas on technology and solutions stack that support growing the business at a faster pace.

 

  • Demonstrate service or product knowledge and professionalism in researching and sharing service-related information with account teams and customers.

 

  • Maintain expertise on UC at all levels - new applications, maintenance, budgets, typical objectives, measures, metrics.

 

  • Hold industry recognised sales and product certifications (we will provide access to this)
