The Role

As an Account Manager at beqom, you will be responsible for a portfolio of enterprise clients using both our historical compensation management platform and our new platform offerings (Pay Equity, Pay Transparency, and next-generation Compensation & Performance Management solutions).


You will act as the key commercial contact for your accounts, driving retention and growth, managing renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. You’ll engage with a variety of stakeholders (HR, IT, Procurement, Finance) across different industries and implementation contexts.


This is a strategic role, requiring strong business acumen, autonomy, and the ability to work across teams (Pre-Sales, Support, Services, Legal, etc.) to deliver value and strengthen our client partnerships over time.


What will you be doing?

  • Own and manage the overall relationship with your assigned accounts.
  • Drive account performance of ≥95% GRR and ≥115% NRR year-on-year across your account portfolio.
  • Lead renewal cycles and support the negotiation of commercial and contractual terms.
  • Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive them through to close.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders at various levels (C-suite, HR leadership, IT, Procurement, etc.).
  • Serve as the internal advocate for your clients, ensuring alignment across beqom teams.
  • Monitor adoption and satisfaction across your portfolio, and proactively manage risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client requests and ensure smooth execution.
  • Provide regular account updates, contribute to internal planning and forecasting.
  • Stay up to date on compensation trends and beqom’s evolving product landscape.


What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B Account Management
  • Proven track record in managing large or complex customer accounts over multi-year relationships.
  • Ability to navigate both legacy and new product environments, with a structured and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership, strategic mindset, and commercial acumen.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and coordinating multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 2-3 days per month), depending on client needs.


Bonus points if you have:

  • Account Management experience in SaaS, HR Tech or enterprise software sectors.
